Day Twenty Seven Recap Of The 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs

We are now twenty seven days into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There was only one game yesterday. In the Eastern Conference the Dallas Stars had the opportunity to win their seres with the Seattle Kraken. Theres only one game going on today. In the Western Conference the Vegas Golden Knights will have the opportunity to eliminate the Edmonton Oilers.

Coming into game six the Dallas Stars had a 3-2 series lead over the Seattle Kraken. The Stars had the chance to win their series and eliminate the Kraken. The Kraken won game one 5-4 in overtime and game three 7-2. The Stars won game two 4-2, game four 6-3, and game five 5-2. Game six started off with a goal from Yanni Gourde. His goal gave the Kraken the lead. Mason Marchment tied the game. Jordan Eberle scored on the powerplay to regain the lead for the Kraken. The score was 2-1 Kraken after the first period.

Eeli Tolvanen scored early in the second period to give the Kraken a two goal lead. Tye Kartye scored to give the Kraken a three goal lead. Joe Pavelski scored the Stars second goal. The score was 4-2 Kraken heading into the third period.

Matty Berniers scored for the Kraken. Joel Kiviranta scored for the Starst. Jordan Eberle scored for the Kraken. The final score was 6-3 Kraken. The series is now tied at 3-3.

The Kraken got the lead on the powerpay and didn’t let up again. This series has been nothing but back and fourth. The Kraken have managed to force a game seven. The Stars didn’t have what it took close out the series yet. They will have one more chance. Will the Kraken win game seven? Will the Stars win game seven? Who will advance to the Western Conference Finals?

Game seven will be on Monday May 15th at 5:00pm PST.

Todays only game is game six of the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers series. The Golden Knights have a 3-2 series lead. They have the chance to win the series with a win today. The Golden Knights won game one 6-4, game three 5-1, and five 4-3. The Oilers won game two 5-1 and game four 4-1. Will the Golden Knights win the series in game six? Will the Oilers force a game seven?

The Vegas Golden Knights, Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, Seattle Kraken, and New Jersey Devils have advanced to round two. The Winnipeg Jets, New York Islanders, Minnesota Wild, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, and New York Rangers have been eliminated.

The New Jersey Devils and Toronto Maple Leafs have been eliminated in round two. The Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Vegas Golden Knights are playing the Edmonton Oilers in round two. The Dallas Stars are playing the Seattle Kraken in round two.
