The Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 Playoffs continued yesterday. Yesterday was Championship Saturday. The E-League, D-League, and C-League Championship games were all played back to back.
The Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 Playoffs finish up today with Championship Sunday. For Championship Sunday the B-League and A-League Championship games will be played back to back. That starts at 5:00pm.

#1 Trash Pandas vs #2 Bangarang | E-League Championship
In the Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 E-League Champions game the number one seed Trash Pandas played the number two seed Bangarang. The Trash Pandas won both of their regular season meetings. The Trash Pandas also had a better record in their last five regular season games. Coming into these playoffs the Trash Pandas won back to back regular season titles as well as being in both of the RIAL E-League Championship games. They have yet to win a championship though. Bangarang were the defending champions coming into these playoffs. The Trash Pandas beat Satan’s Gatekeepers 6-2 in the Semifinals to reach the Championship game. Bangarang beat Long Drink 7-3 in the Semifinals to reach the Championship game.
The score was 2-1 Bangarang after the first period. The score was 6-2 Bangarang after the second period. The final score was 8-3 Bangarang. Bangarang won the RIAL Spring 2023 E-League Championship game. The Trash Pandas have been eliminated from the playoffs. Bangarang are now the RIAL Spring 2023 E-League Champions. This is their second RIAL E-League Championship. They have now won back to back Championships after winning both the RIAL Fall 2022 E-League Championship game and the RIAL Spring 2023 E-League Championship game.

#1 Reno Pond Hockey vs #3 The Guardians | D-League Championship
In the Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 D-League Championship game the number one seed Reno Pond Hockey played the number three seed The Guardians. Reno Pond Hockey won their only regular season meeting. Reno Pond Hockey had the better record in their last five regular season games including going undefeated during the regular season and winning their last twenty two games overall. Coming into the playoffs Reno Pond Hockey were the defending champions and made it to both of the last two RIAL D-League Championships. The Guardians were eliminated in the RIAL D-League Semifinals in both of the last two seasons.
Reno Pond Hockey defeated the Jurassic Pucks 6-1 in the Semifinals to advance to the Championship game. The Guardians beat Mid-Ice Crisis 3-1 to advance to the Championship game.

In the Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 C-League Championship game the number one seed Blue Moon played the number two seed Slappy Gilmores. Blue Moon won both of their regular season meetings. They both won four of their last five regular season games. Blue Moon missed the playoffs last season. The Slappy Gilmores lost in the championship game.
Blue Moon defeated Black Ox 8-0 in the Semifinals to advance the Championship game. The Slappy Gilmores beat the United Skates 6-0 tin the Semifinals to advance to the Championship game.

In the Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 B-League Champions game the number one seed Swift Institute will take on the number two seed Cruz Construction. They only played once during the regular season. Cruz Construction won that game 5-3. The Swift Institute won four of their last five games during the regular season.
