The National Hockey League is coming back to Reno. The Vegas Golden Knights are bringing their road trip back to Reno Nevada. This is the first time the NHL has returned since the Arizona Coyotes were at the Grand Sierra Resort last offseason. I know they were here because they blasted the logo all over the front of the resort and from what I was told by an insider it was just some offseason meetings for the team.
The Vegas Golden Knights did bring their road trip to Reno in 2018. I am in the video in the tweet below from the last time the Vegas Golden Knights road trip was in the Biggest Little City.
They followed that up by playing in South Lake Tahoe against the Colorado Avalanche. When the National Hockey League did have the NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe event, the Vegas Golden Knights did visit Reno Ice and gave out a bunch of stuff to youth hockey players.
The Vegas Golden Knights are coming to Reno on Monday, August 21st. They are going to be running a clinic at Reno Ice. The clinic will be for youth players. There will also be other festivities going on. Fans are encouraged to come. They did not specify if they were bring the Stanley Cup with them. I expect a packed house despite it being on a weekday.
