Ahead of tonights National Hockey League season opener the Vegas Golden Knights have released what their rings will look like. The Vegas Golden Knights did win the 2023 Stanley Cup after winning the NHL playoffs. They open up the 2024/25 season tonight with a home game against the Seattle Kraken. That game is part of the NHL Face-Off which is like Major League Baseball’s opening day. The Vegas Golden Knights game is set for 7:30pm PST tonight. They are going to have a big ceremony including a banner raising before the game as is tradition.
The other day the Vegas Golden Knights released what their rings look like. The rings are spectacular. Their gold with a lot of diamonds. On the front is the Vegas Golden Knights logo and “Stanley Cup Champion”. One side says “Vegas Born” which is the team motto with the Las Vegas skyline. Also on that side is the players name and number. On the other side is “Always Advance”. That side also has the Stanley Cup, six stars for the years the Golden Knights have been around, and all of their 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs series scores. The ring opens up to reveal an ice rink. It also has “It’s Knight Time” on the inside of the ring. The rink has the Vegas Golden Knights center rink.
The returning Vegas Golden Knights players from the 2023 Stanley Cup team received their rings in a ceremony on October 8th.
