The Las Vegas Golden Knights American Hockey League affiliate, the Henderson Silver Knights released a specialty jersey last week. The jersey was a specialty jersey for Nevada Day. The jersey is blue, dark blue, silver, and gold. On the front it says Henderson Silver Knights and on the shoulder is a Nevada patch. The jersey is inspired by the 1905 to 1915 Nevada state flag. They wore white gloves and chrome helmets with the jersey.
Overall I think the jersey is ok. I don’t like the modified logo on the front saying Henderson. I would have preferred if they would have kept the Nevada. Outside of the logos I think they jersey is too busy too. The logo on the front is very busy and their is a lot of stripping. I think if they would have stuck with the darker blue it would have been better. I do think their last two Nevada day jerseys were better. Only changing the star on the Nevada flag inspired logo I think was better. I really liked the Vegas Golden Knights Nevada day jerseys this year. They changed the colors to be the Vegas Golden Knights colors instead of the Nevada flag colors but I really like the Nevada flag inspired logo on the front in gold.

What did the Henderson Silver Knights steal? On January 6th, 2022 I released my Coors Light Concept as part of my my Reno Ice Adult League concept series. Seven months ago I put that concept on Reddit. I posted it on r/hockeydesign. r/hockeydesign is now restricted due to Reddit drama. The City jersey I designed for Coors Light was based on the 1905 Nevada state flag. Both the City jersey I designed for Coors Light in 2022 and the Henderson Silver Knights 2023 Nevada Day Jersey are inspired by the 1905 Nevada state flag. So yeah they copied me. However due to neither of my posts being seen by too many people and both jerseys largely having different design elements, I think this is a coincidence. Looking at both jerseys they do look similar.
