I am still behind on Conceptober. The prompt on the 26th was to create an ice hockey jersey concept for a team that is in a different sport. I do crossover jerseys and series all the time. I have been doing a lot of soccer ones lately with my FIFA World Cup 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Concepts respectively. I have also been doing championship crossover concepts in 2023. I did one for the Super Bowl and one for the NBA Finals. I plan on doing more soon for both the MLS Final and the World Series.
I used the wheel of names again to pick a team for this concept. I started with all of the major North American sports leagues that are not ice hockey. So Major League Baseball, the National Football League, and the National Basketball Association, and Major League Soccer. The winner of the first spin was Major League Soccer. The team that won the spin was D.C. United. I did not include any expansion teams.
I created a concept based on the D.C. United black jersey. The jersey is black, red, and white. On the front is the D.C. United logo. On the shoulder is the Major League Soccer Logo.
