The Reno Ice Adult League Fall 2023 Playoffs finished up last night. Yesterday was Championship Sunday. All three of the championship games were played back to back. The Reno Gamblers and Reno Doughboy’s Donuts! played in the RIAL Fall 2023 A-League Championship game. The Desert Dogs played Oktoberfest in the RIAL Fall 2023 C-League Championship game. Long Drink played Satan’s Gatekeepers in the RIAL Fall 2023 E-League Championship game.
#1 Long Drink vs #3 Satan’s Gatekeepers | E-League Championship
In the Reno Ice Adult League Fall 2023 C-League Championship game the number one seed Long Drink played the number three seed Satan’s Gatekeepers. They split their regular season series with both teams winning one game a piece. Long Drink won all five of their last five regular season games. Satan’s Gatekeepers won three of their last five regular season games. Long Drink were eliminated in the E-League Semifinals last season. Satan’s Gatekeepers did not make the C-League playoffs last season. This was the only championship game this season that was not number one seed versus a number two seed matchup.

The Desert Dogs finished the regular season with a seven game winning streak. Oktoberfest won two of their last five regular season games. The Desert Dogs were eliminated in the C-League Semifinals last season. Oktoberfest made it to the C-League Championship last season as the Summer Shandies.
