The NHL stadium series is back for 2024. It will take place on February 17th and 18th. There are two stadium series games set for 2024. The New Jersey Devils will play the Philadelphia Flyers on February 17th. The New York Rangers will face the New York Islanders on February 18th. Both games will be at the 82,500 capacity Met Life Stadium. Met Life Stadium is home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets. These two games have the chance to be the highest attended NHL Stadium Series games.
The logo for the 2024 NHL Stadium series incorporates the stadium the state of New Jersey. The logo is in the New Jersey Devils colors. It is a pretty standard stadium series logo.
The New Jersey Devils 2024 Stadium Series jersey is red and black. It has a black modified version of their primary logo on the front. It has the stadium series logo on the shoulder. It looks a lot better than their alternate jersey. It does look close to the concept I came up for the New Jersey Devils back in 2021.
The New York Rangers 2024 NHL Stadium Series jersey is white, blue, and red. On the front is NYR. On the shoulders are the Rangers primary logo and the event logo. I really like this one. I am surprised that the Rangers had not tried to do something like this before.
The Islanders jersey is navy blue and orange. On the front is an “Isles” wordmark. On the shoulders is their primary logo and the event logo. I think this is the best of the NHL 2024 Stadium Series jerseys. I really like what was done here. I would like to see more designs like his from the Islanders in the future.
The Philadelphia Flyers jersey is white, orange, and black. It is easily one of the ugliest jerseys I have ever seen. On the front is their primary logo. On the shoulders are the numbers. Where this jersey falls apart is the sleeves. The sleeves look odd. The black part also stretches around the back which I am not a fan of.
The Islanders jersey is the best. The Rangers jersey is second. The Devils jersey is third. The Flyers jersey is awful. The big controversy with these jerseys is that they were released really late into the season. They will also not be available before the games. While the jerseys can be preordered, fans will not be getting them until March. The New Jersey Devils blank Adidas jersey is not even available on the NHL Shop right now. Someone dropped the ball.
