In Group G are Argentina, Italy, South Africa, and Sweden. Argentina does not have a women’s ice hockey league. For this concept their women’s ice hockey league would be modeled after the Campeonato de Fútbol Femenino. The Italian Hockey League Women is the highest level of women’s ice hockey in Italy. South Africa does not have a women’s ice hockey league. For this concept their women’s ice hockey league would be modeled after the SAFA Women’s League. The Swedish Women’s Hockey League is the highest level of women’s ice hockey in Sweden.

Argentina are sponsored by Adidas. Their colors are light blue, gold, and black. They also added orange and turquoise. I did modify the logo. I changed the text on the logo from “AFA” to “AHA”. I replaced the F for football with an H for hockey. They have a white jersey and a black jersey. The White jersey is the same one from the FIFA World Cup 2022. The black jersey has a recolored logo and an abstract pattern inspired by the pattern seen on their soccer jersey. On the collar is the Argentina flag.

Argentina does not have a women’s ice hockey league. For this concept their women’s ice hockey league would be modeled after the Campeonato de Fútbol Femenino. The way that league would work is as a three stage tournament. In the first stage every team plays each other once. After the first stage the league is split into a higher and a lower competition based on standings. Teams then play each other twice. The winner of the higher competition based on standings wins the league. The lower competition teams are playing to not be relegated.

Italy are sponsored by Adidas. Their colors are green, white, red, blue, and gold. I did modify their logo. I replaced “FIGC” with 1910. 1910 is the year that their soccer federation was founded. They have a blue jersey an off white jersey. Both jerseys have marble patterns inspired by the patterns from their soccer jerseys. Both jerseys have the Italian flag on the collar.

The Italian Hockey League Women is the highest level of women’s ice hockey in Italy. From what I can find about the league there is no post season. The regular season winner is the league winner. Italian women’s ice hockey teams can also play in the European Women’s Hockey League. The EWHL is like the Champions Hockey League for teams in Austria, Hungary, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Slovakia.

South Africa are sponsored by Le Coq Sportif. Le Coq Sportif do not make hockey jerseys. They have in the past but do not currently. For this concept their ice hockey jerseys are manufactured by Champion. Their colors are green, yellow, gold, and black. I did modify one of their logos to remove the soccer imagery. They are the only team in this concept to use more than one team logo on their jerseys. They are also the only team to have four jerseys. They have a yellow jersey, a green jersey, a white jersey, and a black jersey.

South Africa does not have a women’s ice hockey league. For this concept their women’s ice hockey league would be modeled after the SAFA Women’s League. In this league teams play each other twice with no postseason. The team with the best regular season record is the league champion.

Sweden are sponsored by Adidas. Their colors are blue, and yellow. Their jerseys also feature dark blue and a light yellow. I did modify their logo. I replaced their soccer ball with their hockey logo. I changed their text to match the text seen in their hockey logo. I added the three crowns that are used a lot in hockey and seen on previous Sweden soccer logos. I moved 1904. They have a yellow jersey and a blue jersey. The blue jersey has a pattern on it inspired by their blue soccer jersey. Both of the jerseys have the Sweden flag on the collar.

The Swedish Women’s Hockey League is the highest level of women’s ice hockey in Sweden. The SWHL has each team play twice in the regular season. They have a best of three series playoffs with the highest or higher seed teams picking who they want to play from the lower seeded teams.

Here is what Group G looks like. The off white Italy jersey is my favorite. #1 ranked is Italy. #2 ranked is Argentina. I wish they would have come up with another jersey instead of using their 2022 white jersey. I get it though. That jersey just won the FIFA World Cup in 2022. #3 is ranked is Sweden. #4 ranked is South Africa.
