Last week was electric at the Tahoe Blue Event Center for the first two Tahoe Knight Monsters games. They lost the first game in overtime. They won the second game for their first ever win. They are back this week to take on the Idaho Steelheads. Tonights game is the only game in the ECHL today. It is Halloween so that should add to the fun. The Idaho Steelheads are from Boise Idaho. They have been around since 1997.

Get there early. Lines were long for the first two games. The merch line was always long. I suggests if anyone wants to buy merch to get there early and do that first thing. Parking seems to be best at the Golden Nugget across the street from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. It is a little big cheaper. There were no lines to get out of parking after the game.

It will be in the low 40ºs and 30ºs during the game. It does look like there is some snow on the mountains. The roads should still be clear. It will be cold but no where near as cold as it will be later on in the season.

The main entrance has been full of people with large lines. The entrance on Highway 50 and Lake Park was open with no line at the same time the doors opened. It is halloween. There will be trick-or-treating available for kids at the game. Tipsy Putt had a booth the first couple of games. They had a deal where people could get free mini golf. It does not look like there will be a give away tonight.

Anyone not attending the game can watch it on Flo Hockey.

Bally’s Lake Tahoe is the official post-game party destination. Bally’s is located right next to the Tahoe Blue Events Center.
