The Tahoe Knight Monsters could not keep a lead in this one. They were never able to build on their leads either. It was a back and fourth game. It was very close. Lost of chances on both sides. The fight was the most entertaining part of the night. Overtime was crazy. At one point it turned into both teams trading scoring chances back and fourth. On the game winning goal one of the Knight Monsters players didn’t move after the faceoff. He stood their for a minute before realizing that the puck was behind him and it was a 2-on-1 breakaway going the other way. That mistake cost the Knight Monsters the game. I believe this is the second sell out in team history. I think the only other game to be a sell out was the home opener. It was a good crowd.
