On Saturday, the Mariners signed defender Jake Stevens. Defender Cory Dennis and forward Christian Sarlo were activaed from reserve by the Mariners. defender Jake Stevens, forward Wyllum Deveaux, and forward Jimmy Lambert were placed on reserve by the Mariners. Forward Evan Vierling was moved from 3-day injured reserve to 14-day injured reserve by the Mariners.

Forty five seconds into the second period, Bear Hughes of the Tahoe Knight Monsters received a penalty for slashing. Five minutes into the second period, Jacob Hudson of the Maine Mariners received a penalty for boarding. Nine minutes into the second period, Carter Johnson of the Mariners recieved a penalty for hooking. Neither team scored in the second period. The score was still 2-0 Mariners going into the third period.
Two minutes into the third period, the Maine Mariners took a three goal lead. #5 Alex Sheehy scored the goal. His goal was assisted by #22 Sebastian Vidmar and #19 Xander Lamppa.
Three minutes into the third period, Lynden McCallum of the Mariners received a penalty for delay of game. Ten minutes into the third period Matt Murphy of the Tahoe Knight Monsters received a penalty for hooking. Thirteen minutes into the third period, Michael Underwood of the Mariners received a penalty for roughing and for slashing and Logan Nelson of the Tahoe Knight Monsters received a penalty for roughing. The final score was 3-0 Maine Mariners.

This was the first game ever where the Tahoe Knight Monsters did not score a goal. With this game completed the Knight Monsters are half way through the regular season. The offense just wasn’t there in this game. Hopefully they can turn it around with the last game in Maine.
