The second period unraveled quickly for the Tahoe Knight Monsters, turning the game into a rough outing they’ll want to move past. Tahoe struggled to maintain control, spent extended stretches pinned in their own zone, and never fully settled into a rhythm. While the score might suggest issues in net, the goaltender wasn’t the problem—Savannah was given far too much space, far too many clean looks, and the freedom to cycle the puck almost at will. It had also been a while since Tahoe’s goalie saw game action, which may have played a role, but the larger issue was simply being outworked. Surprisingly, no suspensions were handed out despite the game’s intensity. Even on a difficult night, there were a few bright spots, as Tahoe put together solid stretches in both the first and third periods. In the end, it’s just one game, and the Knight Monsters will look to regroup and bounce back stronger.

The Tahoe Knight Monsters are set to face the Savannah Ghost Pirates in the seventeen game of the season. This matchup marks the final game of their three-game series at home. The puck is dropping on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
