Last night Reno Pond Hockey took on the Tahoe Dawgs. Both teams looked pretty even on paper heading into the game. Both teams were looking to win their last game of the season as neither team was headed to the playoffs. The game did not go Reno Pond Hockey’s way. They struggled to get the puck up the ice. They struggled to keep the puck in the zone on offense. Reno Pond Hockey had a couple of close shots that just didn’t go in. There was also a lot of penalties and inconstancies in the officiating in this game. There were a total of 25 minutes in penalties in this game. There could have been 50 to 75 minutes of penalties in this game. At the end of the day this was a meaningless game for both teams that got too heated on both sides.
