Reno Pond Hockey played Q&D Construction last night. Reno Pond Hockey won getting their first win of the season. This breaks a 10 game losing streak. Reno Pond Hockey’s last win was on Jun 6th. The game got off to a rough start. Reno Pond Hockey went down 0-2 within 5 minutes of the game. Reno Pond Hockey got the lead by the end of the third period. Once Reno Pond Hockey got the lead they did not give it up. Despite what it says on the league website Reno Pond Hockey did score multiple times on the power play. It was a strong effort by Reno Pond Hockey to get the win. Reno Pond Hockey still has a lot to work on. They need to tighten up on shift changes, positioning, breakouts and back checks. They still have a lot to work on but everyone is super happy with the win.
