SIHL Game Preview: Reno Pond Hockey VS Team B

This is week three of the Sierra Inline Hockey League. The season started back on January 7th, 2022. Reno Pond Hockey (Team A on the league website) lost both of their games on the opening weekend. I don’t know how Team C is doing. The scores have not been posted to the league website. The standings are not up on the league website either. Last weeks games were canceled due to weather. They will probably be rescheduled.

Reno Pond Hockey is probably last in the standings. They lost their first game 3-6 to Team B. They lost their second game 7-3 to Team E. Reno Pond Hockey was not on the schedule last weekend but none of those games were played anyway.

Team C played Team D during the opening weekend. I do not know what the score was for that one. Team C was scheduled to play Team B and Team E last weekend. Those games were canceled. I do not know where Team C sits in the current standings.

The Weather has been causing issues for the Sierra Inline Hockey League since the rink went up. The roof leaks causing the surface to be unusable for inline hockey. Snow has been and probably will continue to be a bit of an issue this season. Today the only issue should be the cold. It may be below 20 degrees for the first SIHL game today. It should be below or around 30 degrees for todays Reno Pond Hockey game. It’s going to be a cold one.
