Up next in the Reno Ice Adult League concept are the Grrrowlers. The Grrrowlers are another season two expansion team. They are named after growlers which are a type of bottle used to transport draft beer. For this concept the Grrrowlers are owned by a group that makes draft beer.

In this concept, the Grrowlers play in the Valley division of the C-League with the Goal Diggers and the Trash Pandas.

The Grrrowlers primary logo is a bear head with the team name. The Grrrowlers do have bear theming like a lot of teams with similar names. I decided to lean into that more than theming based on the growler bottle. The main reason for this was to avoid having the Grrrowlers look to much like the Santa Rosa Growlers. In real life the Grrrowlers and the Santa Rosa Growlers have very similar branding. The Grrrowlers colors are brick red, green, brown, grey, black, and white.

The Grrrowlers secondary logo is the bear head from their Primary logo.

The first Grrowlers alternate logo a bear claw with the team and league names. Their second logo is a bear claw in multiple colors. Their third alternate logo is a G for Grrrowlers with claw marks. They have a bunch of wordmark logos with and without claw marks. They have a bear paw with a bear head silhouette in it. Their last alternate logo is the US Forest Service logo which is used on their City jersey.

The Grrowlers have a lot of alternate throwback logos. They do not have any throwback logos as they are an expansion team. The top row is the first set. They are designed to look like 80s and early 90s branding. That set includes a bear head in front of a triangle logo, a bear paw logo, a wordmark logo, and a bear claw logo. The middle row is the second set. It is designed to look like mid to late 90s and early 2000s branding. This set is inspired by the Reno Rage West Coast Hockey League team. Most of that set comes from one logo. The set has a logo with a bear head, team name, and league name in front of a circle. The set also includes a bear head with the team name logo, a bear head logo, and a logo with a bear, team name, and league name. The bottom row is the third set. The third set has a logo with a bear head and the team name in front of a triangle. The third set has two more bear head logos. The set also includes a bear paw logo, a shield logo, and a wordmark logo.

A lot of the ideas for these throwback logos were originally for another team. I ended up going in a different direction with that team. That team was not an expansion team. A lot of those ideas worked really well with the Grrrowlers. That is why the Grrrowlers have a lot of alternate throwback logos for an expansion team.

The Dark jersey is brick red, black, and white. On the front is the secondary logo. On the shoulders is the bear paw logo in black. The Light jersey is white, brick red, and black. It has the primary logo on the front. It has the bear paw logo on the shoulders in brick red. Both the Dark and Light Grrrowlers jerseys use the same templates.

The 3RD jersey is green, black, and white. On the front is the G logo in black. On the shoulders are the bear paw logo in black and the secondary logo.

The City jersey is green, black, and yellow. On the front is the US Forest Service logo. In this concept the Grrrowlers partnered with the US Forest Service because it worked really well with their theming. Nevada also share the largest national forest outside of Alaska with California. That forest is the Humboldt–Toiyabe.

The Retro jersey is black, silver, purple, white, and red. It is inspired by the Reno Rage. It has one of the alternate throwback the bear head logos on the front.

The Surge jersey is brick red, and black. The design intigrates the alternate bear paw logo into the jersey pattern. On the front is the bear paw logo with the silhouette of the bear head.
