With eight minutes left in the game, the Tahoe Knight Monsters retook their two goal lead. The goal was scored by #10 Jett Jones. His goal was assisted by #9 Troy Loggins and #49 Artur Cholach.
With five minutes left in the game, the Oilers scored to cut the Knight Monsters lead down to one goal. The goal was scored by #36 Michael Farren. It was assisted by #8 Reid Petryk and #11 Tyler Poulsen.
The Tulsa Oilers pulled their goalie with two minutes left in the game. With just over a minute left in the game, the Knight Monsters scored on the empty net. #10 Jett Jones scored the empty net goal. His goal was unassisted.
The final score was 5-3 Tahoe Knight Monsters.

The Tahoe Knight Monsters cranked up the intensity for this game. There was a lot more urgency in how they played in this game. They were able to get more sustained 5-on-5 pressure. They were quicker on lose pucks. They were quicker to attack to the puck carrier. Overall it was a step up from Fridays game. With this win the Knight Monsters snapped a three game losing streak.
