Next up in my American Hockey League Concept is the AHL Outdoors at NC State event. For AHL Outdoors NC State, the Chicago Wolves (Carolina Hurricanes affiliate) and the Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals affiliate) play outdoors at Carter–Finley Stadium. he game would have taken place on Febuary 17th, 2023. The day before the NHL 2023 Stadium Series. For the AHL outdoors series, the AHL affiliates of NHL teams play outdoors at the same venues as the NHL teams. The NHL Stadium Series was on February 18th. This concept event is tied into that event.
The logo is inspired by the NHL stadium series logo.
The first of the two logos here is the Chicago Wolves logo. It is the wolf head from the primary logo in black and red. The other logo is an alternate Hershey Bears logo. I did recolor the logo to be two colors.
The Chicago Wolves jersey is black, red, and yellow. It has the wolf head logo on the front. The Hershey Bears jersey is white, chocolate, tan, and cocoa. It has the recolored bear head logo on the front. Both jerseys have the event logo on the shoulder. Both jerseys have the event date on the collar.
In this concept, AHL Outdoors At NC State takes place at Carter–Finley Stadium. The 56,919-capacity stadium is home to the NC State Wolfpack. NC State’s ice hockey team also took on North Carolina’s ice hockey team as part of the festivities surrounding the NHL Stadium Series.
