2022 AHL Concept

2023 AHL Stadium Series Lehigh Valley | AHL Concept Part Sixteen

I am back with another American Hockey League event concept. Today I have the third game in the AHL Stadium series. For this game, the Wold Divisions Lehigh Valley Phantoms host the Bridgeport Islanders. The game is at Coca Cola Park in Allentown, Pensilvania. For this concept, the game would be on February 18th, 2023.

The logo is a shield with the city skyline, event name, hosting location, and year. It has the AHL logo on it. The logo is the colors of the AHL. It has the chromed-out look. It is designed in the 2023 AHL Stadium Series template that I created for this concept like the 2023 AHL Stadium Series Montreal and the 2023 AHL Stadium Series Colorado State.

The first of the other two logos for this event replaces the skyline with the stadium logo. The other logo is a matchup logo. This is the only outdoor game in this concept for both of these teams.

These are the team logos for the event. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms logo is based on their alternate logo. It is chrome and orange. Their other logo is based on the Pennsylvania logo. It has an LV inside of a shield in the shape of a keystone. The Bridgeport Islanders logo is a chromed version of their primary logo. Their other logo is the B from their primary logo in chrome, blue, and orange.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms jersey is black, orange, purple, and chrome. On the front is the chrome alternate logo. On the shoulder is the chrome keystone logo. On the collar it says Lehigh Valley. The jersey is inspired by the Philadelphia Flyers 50th-anniversary jersey. The Bridgeport Islanders jersey is white, chrome, blue, and orange. It is inspired by some of their other jerseys in this concept as well as the New York Islanders shoulder patch used fro 1998 to 2010. On the front is the chrome primary logo. On the shoulder is the chrome B. On the collar it says Bridgeport. Both jerseys have the event logo on the shoulder as well.

In this concept, the World Division AHL Stadium Series game is at the 10,178-capacity Coca-Cola Park. The stadium is home to the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs of the International League. Coca-Cola Park is only slightly larger than PPL Center, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms home arena. Coca-Cola Park can fit 1,758 more people but has less actual seating. Using the dugouts and bullpen as VIP areas and possibly allowing on field standing room (like the NHL Stadium Series at NC State) they could add a few extra thousand tickets to be sold.
