Next up in my American Hockey League concept series with the Belleville Senators. They are the primary affiliate of the Ottawa Senators. They play in the 4,635-seat CAA Arena. Belleville Ontario has a population of 50,720. They might be the smallest market in the AHL. They entered the AHL for the 2017-18 season. That makes this season their fifth season. It doesn’t look like the team is doing anything official to celebrate their fifth season.
For this concept, the Belleville Senators play in the AHL’s North Division in the Eastern Conference. The other teams in the North Division are the Charlotte Checkers, the Grand Rapids Griffins, Laval Rocket, the Providence Bruins, the Rochester Americans, the Syracuse Crunch, and the Toronto Marlies.
Also in this concept, the Belleville Senators took on the Toronto Marlies in the AHL Canada Classic to start off the 2022-23 AHL season.

The Bellville Senators have three logos. Their colors are black and white. Their primary logo is a b in front of two stripes. It is inspired by the Ottawa Senators O logo. Their second logo is a circle with the team name and city log inside of it. Their last logo is the b from their primary logo. I did create two logos for the Senators. One is an anniversary logo to celebrate their fifth season. They did not already have one so I made one for this concept. The other logo I created is based on the Ottawa Senators shoulder patch.

The Home jersey is black, red, and white. It has the primary logo and anniversary logo on the front. On the shoulders is their circle logo. On the collar, it says “For The B”. The Away jersey is white, black, and red. The template and logos are the same as the Home jersey.
The Alternate jersey is red, black, white, and gold. On the front is the logo I created is based on the Ottawa Senators shoulder patch. the anniversary logo is also on the front. There are no shoulder logos. It says For The B” on the collar.
The Retro jersey is inspired by Belleville Bulls. They were a Jr hockey team that played in the OHL from 1981 to 2015. This jersey is based on the Bulls alternate jersey used from 1993 to 2003 and 2005 to 2015. It also has a recolored anniversary logo. On the collar is the roman numerals for 2017 when the Belleville Senators entered the AHL.
The City jersey is black, white, and red. On the front is the circle logo and recolored anniversary logo. On the collar is the roman numerals for the date Belleville was settled.
The Affiliate Remix jersey is black, gold, and red. It is based on the Ottawa Senators current black jersey. On the front is the B from the primary logo and the anniversary logo. It does not have shoulder logos. On the collar it says “Go Sens Go”.
The Belleville Senators have four Heritage jerseys. The New Haven Senators (1992-93 ), the Prince Edward Island Senators (1993-96), the Worcester IceCats (1996-98), and the Binghamton Senators (2002-17). The Heritage jerseys are inspired by the Ottawa Senators former primary affiliates.
