Zac Electrifly

I had big hopes for 2023. I started off a little burnt out but ready for where 2023 would take me. I wanted to keep up better with the Zac Electrifly Shop. Which I did and I have been a continuing to design and put out products. I wanted to get out a lot more Reno Ice Adult League and Reno Pond Hockey posts. I did that but not as much or as consistently as I had hoped for. I was still working on my AHL concept. I wanted to have it finished by the end of the 2022-23 season. That did not happen. I am still working on it. I wanted to get my Reno Ice Olympics concept done. I still have not finished that but I have been working on it. I did start season two of my RIAL concept series. I thought I would be able to get at least get started on season three by the end of 2023 but that has not happened. I did get a ice hockey crossover concept out for the Super Bowl like I wanted. I have been getting out different hockey concept or concept crossovers for major sporting championships. I did cover the NHL playoffs again. I also covered the build up to that. I wanted to do a concept for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. I did that but have not gotten that finished. I did cover the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. I wanted to do more blogging style content but that just didn’t happen. I wanted to be more consistant about my YouTube uploads but that did not happen. I didn’t do much on Twitch like I wanted. I didn’t a new podcast out like I was hoping for.

The first quarter of 2023 (January 1st through March 31st) was all right. January was a little slow following December 2022. From there things looked up in February. There was a solid jump in views and output in March. Outside of January there was an increase in views every month compared to 2022. January 2023 was still the second highest ever January for views. I was overall positive moving into quarter two.

Quarter two started off slow with April. In April I saw a declined in views. I missed the target goals for the month in April but did come close. In May I saw a slight decrease in views from April. April and May were the first two months in 2023 that I missed my target goals in consecutive months. I missed my target goals in both months by less than one percent. That would be the last two months in 2023 that I would miss my target goals. May was also the month that I put out the most posts. In May I got out the most posts in a single month since February of 2022. In June I saw an increase in views for the time in quarter two. I was overall happy with how quarter two turned out. I was on the right track to reach my overall goals for the year.

Quarter three started off with a big boost in July. June to July was the first time since quarter one that I had reached my target goals in back to back months. In July I got the second most views every in a single month. This was the first time since 2020 that I had come close to that record. In August I saw a decrease in views but I still reached my target goal. That was the first time in 2023 that I had reached my target goals in three consecutive months. In September I barely reached my target goals. I did reach my target goals to extend my streak of reaching my target goals to four months. Quarter three was also the first quarter in 2023 where I reached my target goals in all three months.

What happened in October? I got forty one posts out in October. That was twenty four more posts than I got out in September. That was an increase of twenty two posts from October of 2022. I did Conceptober which was the main thing I was posting in October. I also got out some posts about the Vegas Golden Knights, Nerfball, and I finally got around to getting my NHL Winter Classic concept out. The most popular post I got out in October was an RIAL Power Rankings post.

What happened in November? I got twenty seven posts out in November. That was fourteen less than I got out in October. That was a decrease of twelve posts from November of 2022. Reno Pond Hockey was gearing up for a new season, so I posted about that. The Lake Tahoe Knight Monsters revealed their ECHL team name. The most popular post I got out that month was about Reno Pond Hockey looking for players for the upcoming season. November ended up being my most popular month ever. That was in part due to my 2024 NHL Winter Classic Concept.

What happened in December? I got out nine posts in December. That was eighteen less than I got out in November. That was a decrease of twenty three posts from December 2022. despite that December was still one of the highest months for views in 2023 and is now in the top five overall ever highest single months for views. In December Reno Pond Hockey started their latest season. That made up majority of my December posts. The most popular post I put out in December was my Tahoe Knight Monsters concept.

Quarter three started off with a rise in output and views. I reached new heights in November. I couldn’t have asked for a better December. December marked seven months in a row where I reached my target goals. I ended 2023 on a high note. Now I have to follow that up in 2024.

January

In January 2023 I got nineteen posts out. That was thirteen less than in December 2022. That was a 59% drop off. There was a total of 741 views. That was 121 fewer views than in January 2022. It was also 172 fewer views than in December 2022. Despite not being what I wanted it was still the second-highest January in views.

February

In February 2023 I got twenty-eight posts out. That was nine more posts than in January 2023. That was a 47% increase in posts. There was a total of 1,067 views. That was 222 more views than in February 2022. It was also 326 more views than in January 2023. February 2023 saw an increase of 43% in views. February 2023 was also the first month since November 2020 to reach over 1,000 views.

March

In March 2023 I got forty-one posts out. That was thirteen more posts than in February 2023. That was a 46% increase in posts. There was a total of 1,392 views. That was 862 more views than in March 2022. It was also 263 more views than in February 2023. March 2023 saw an increase of 30% in views. March was the first month since November 2020 to get over 1.3k views. It was also the first month since September 2020 to get over 1,000 views in back-to-back months.

April

April was the first month in 2023 to see a decrease in views. There was a total of 971 views. It was 617 more views than in April of 2022. That is an increase of 57%. It was 421 less views than in March of 2023. That is a decrease by 69% from March to April. Despite this it turned out to be the highest April even in views.

May

Things continued to go down but only slightly in May. May had a total of 923 views. It was 363 more views than in May of 2022. That is an increase of 64%. It was 48 less views than in April of 2023. That was a decrease of just 5%. Like in April, May 2023 turned out to be the highest ever May in views so far.

June

Views finally went up in June. June had a total of 1,037 views. Making it the third month in 2023 to hit over 1,000 views. It was also the fourth month in a row to get over 900 views. It was 511 more views than in June of 2022. That was an increase of 97%. It was 114 more views than in May of 2023. That was an increase of 12%. This was the highest ever June in views so far. It was also the first June to reach over 1,000 views.

July

July saw an increase in views from June. There was a total of 1,652 views. It was 902 more views than in July 2022. That is an increase of 220%. It was 615 more views than in June of 2023. That is an increase of 59% from June to July. This was the highest July every in views. July 2023 the second highest ever month in views. July also marked back to back months where I hit my target for views.

August

August saw a decrease in views from June but still hit the target. There was a total of 1,059 views. It was 279 more views than in August 2022. That is an increase of 35%. It was 593 less views than in July 2023. That is a decrease of 64% from July to August. That was the second highest August in views ever.

September

September saw the a decrease in views for the second month in a row. That was the first time since May that views decreased in back to back months. There was a total of 1,019 views. It was 2019 more views than in September 2023. That is an increase of 27%. It was 40 less views than in August 2022. That is a decrease of 7% from August to September. This was the second highest September in views ever.

October

October saw an increase in views. There was a total of 1,197 views. It was 284 more views than in October of 2022. That is an increase of 32%. It was 177 more views than in September of 2023. That is an increase of 17% from September to October. This was the Highest ever October in views. October was the fifth highest month in 2023 for views.

November

November saw an increase in views. There was a total of 1,878 views. It was 913 more views than in November of 2022. That is an increase of 94%. It was 681 more views than in October of 2023. That is an increase of 56%. This was the highest ever November in views. November was the top month in views in 2023. November of 2023 was also the best ever single month for views.

December

December saw a decrease in views. There was a total of 1,437 views. It was 524 more views than in December of 2023. That is an increase of 57%. It was 441 less views than in November. That is a decrease of 76%. This was the highest ever December in views. December was also the third highest month in views in 2023.

Quarter Four

This quarter saw a large boost in views. This was the second quarter of 2023 where all three months reached their targets. This was the third quarter in a row where all three months saw increased views compared to 2022. Quarter four of 2023 had a total of 4,512 views. It had 1,732 more views than quarter four of 2022. That was an increase of 160%. Quarter four of 2023 had 1,321 more views than in quarter one of 2023. That is a 41% increase. Quarter four of 2023 had 1,226 more views than in quarter two of 2023. That is a 37% increase. Quarter four of 2023 had 781 more views than in quarter three of 2023. That is a 20% increase. Quarter four of 2023 was the best ever quarter in views yet.

2023

Zacelectrifly.com had 14,365 views in 2023. I surpassed by 2023 goal of 12,000 views. 2023 was the most viewed year so far. I had 5,583 more views than in 2022. That was a 63% increase. I published 352 posts. That is almost a post per day. That is 74 more posts than I published in 2022. That is an average of 40 views per post. Quarter one reached the target goal. Quarter two missed the target goal by under 2%. Quarter three and quarter four reached their target goals.

The United States was the top country for views in 2023. It had 83% of the total views. Canada came in second. The Netherlands came in third. Ireland came in fourth. France came in fifth. Germany, the United Kingdom, China, India, and Mexico complete the top ten. The third most viewed post was my 2024 NHL Winter Classic Concept. The fourth most viewed post of 2023 was my Update On The Arizona Coyotes Moving To Reno. The fifth most viewed post of 2023 was my Winter Classic Conceptober post. The Sixth most viewed post was Lake Tahoe Is Getting An ECHL Team. The seventh most viewed post was Reno Ice Adult League Winter 2022/23 Playoff Picture | Update Three. The eighth most viewed post was Reno Pond Hockey Is Looking For Players. The nineth most viewed post was Reno Ice Adult League Spring 2023 Schedule. The tenth most viewed post was Reno Ice Adult League Power Rankings Spring Week 3. There were a lot of posts from 2022 or earlier that made it into the top 20 viewed for 2023.

Two of the posted I published in 2023 made it into my top five all time viewed posts. Those were the top two posts in 2023. Only one other post I did in 2023 made it into the top ten. That post was my 2024 NHL Winter Classic Concept. My Charlotte FC concept is still my most popular post ever. My St. Louis Lazer Snakes An Alternate Saint Louis City SC Concept post is the under ten views away from becoming my most viewed post.

Right now I have a handful of concepts planed for 2024. My current goal is to get caught up on my concepts. I should have my 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup x Ice Hockey concept finished up by the end of this week. I am planning on having season two of my RIAL Concept and my Reno Ice Olympics concept finished by the end of this month. I am working towards having my AHL concept done by the end of this month if not by the end of February. The first new concept series will be an NCAA Ice Hockey concept. I am planning on getting that out as soon as I am done with my three current concepts. A flag football concept is coming. That is primary based around the sport becoming an olympic sport. The NFL Super Bowl ice hockey crossover concept will return. The NBA Finals ice hockey crossover concept will return. The MLB World Series ice hockey crossover concept will return. The Stanley Cup Final concept will return. My RIAL Concept will continue. There will be concepts related to the 2024 Olympic games. That is all for sure happening.

I have been thinking about an MLS ice hockey crossover concept series. I have also been thinking about expanding to include more single ice hockey or ice hockey crossover concepts from more teams and leagues. It’s too early to say for sure now but I want to do Conceptober again. That was a lot of fun. I was also thinking of doing an update to my AHL concept at some point after finishing it. I am on the fence about doing a 2028 Olympic Lacrosse concept. I also wanted to make concepts for all of the sports in my Reno Ice Olympics concept. Between the 2024 Olympics and 2028 Olympics I want to do a concept series that covers every major North American sport in some way. That would include baseball, football, basketball, and soccer. I excluded hockey from that list as hockey concepts will find a consistant home here. This was all stuff I was thinking about but do not know if it will get done this year.

It is an olympic year. I will be covering the 2024 Summer Olympics like I have been covering other major sporting events. I will be covering the NHL playoffs again. I want to do more NHL and general hockey news but time is a big issue. I will be continuing to cover the Reno Ice Adult League and Reno Pond Hockey. The Lake Tahoe Knight Monsters will have their first season be the 2024-25 season. I plan to cover them a lot like I did with Reno 1868 FC in the past. I am also expanding archery talk on here. I will be doing more archery stuff like I did with the USA Archery Nevada State Outdoor Shoot. That is all happening for sure.

I want to cover more soccer stuff. Unfortunately Reno 1868 FC has been gone for years now. I am thinking of covering the MLS like I do the RIAL with both power rankings and covering the playoffs. I might cover the USL Championship playoffs as well. I would like to cover Battle Born FC and the NISA more as they are our local team currently. I was thinking about covering the ECHL playoffs this year. I was also thinking of covering the AHL playoffs. As far as YouTube, I would like to publish more videos on the Zac Electrifly YouTube channel relating to vlogging and other content on zacelectrifly.com. I don’t know what I am going to do with the Zac Plays Soccer channel. It might get a podcast, vlogs of me going to games, or video game content. With the Zac Plays Hockey channel, I want to continue to post Reno Pond Hockey highlights there. I also wanted to expand with a hockey podcast and video game content. Twitch will be home of all of the live videos I will be doing. I want to get out video game content there with highlights on social media. I also want it to be the live recording base for my podcasts. At the end of the day this is all stuff I want to do but may not be able to.
