I’m here with Group F concepts for Qatar 2022. In my last post, I showed off my concepts for Group E. In my first post, I talked about the event itself. I have also talked about my concepts for Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D. Belgium, Canada, Croatia, and Morocco make up Group F. Belgium is ranked 10th by the IIHF. The Belgian Elite League is the top pro league in Belgium. Canada is ranked 2nd in the world. They are at the center of the hockey world with most rinks, players and teams in the world. They are the home of the top pro leagues in the world. Croatia are ranked 31st by the IIHF. The Croatian Ice Hockey League is the top pro league in Croatia. Morocco are unranked by the IIHF. It does not look like Morocco has a hockey league but they do have an IIHF team.
In this concept, the idea is that most countries would have hockey match their already existing soccer system if hockey is not already established in their county.
Group F is Belgium, Canada, Croatia, and Morocco. In this concept, Belgium, Canada, and Croatia would keep their current hockey systems. Morocco would model its hockey system after its football league system.
Belgium is sponsored by Adidas. I modified their logo to match how it looks on their soccer jerseys. Their colors are red, black, and gold. They also have multiple colors for their white jersey. They have a red and white jersey. The red jersey has a flame pattern on it. The white jersey has a pattern on it design in collaboration with the Tomorrowland festival. On their collars is the Belgium flag.
Canada is sponsored by Nike. Their colors are red, white, and black. I did modify their logo. I got rid of the bottom which was just a soccer ball. They have a red, a white, and a black jersey. All three jerseys are a recolor of the blue France jersey. The pattern is the same one seen on their soccer jerseys. Canada has faced a lot of criticism in this world cup for their jerseys since they are stock jerseys with the Canada logo on them. They have also face criticism for their jerseys as they have basically used the same jerseys since 2019 and didn’t design new ones for the world cup.
Croatia is sponsored by Nike. Their colors are red, white, and blue. I did modify their logo. I got rid of the soccer ball at the bottom of their shield. They have a blue and a white jersey. Both jerseys have a checkered pattern.
Morocco is sponsored by Puma. I didn’t mention the last time I talked about Puma but the patterns on the front of the world cup jerseys would be on the back of the hockey jerseys with the player name and numbers on top of them. Morocco’s colors are green, red, gold, white, and black. They have a red, and a white jersey. I did not modify their logo. On the collar is their flag and abbreviation that is seen on the soccer jersey.
Here is what Group F looks like. The blue Croatia jersey is my favorite here. #1 rank is Croatia. #2 rank is Belgium. #3 rank is Morocco. #4 rank is Canada.
The jersey matchups are based on Qatar 2022 kit matchup information from Footy Headlines. Australia will wear both of their jerseys. Denmark will wear their red and white jerseys. France will only wear their blue jersey. Tunisia will only wear their white jersey.
